Net assets under management (AUM) at Korea Investment Management’s dividend-focused exchange-traded fund (ETF) ACE US Dividend Dow Jones have topped 1 trillion won. The “Korean version of SCHD” — which tracks the same index as the leading US dividend ETF, Schwab U.S. Dividend Equity (SCHD), while charging one-sixth of its fee — has drawn retail money amid volatile markets.
According to Korea Exchange data released on November 2, the ETF’s total net assets stood at 1.0066 trillion won (approximately $751.0 million) based on the October 30 closing price. Retail investors have net purchased 107.3 billion won (approximately $80.1 million) of the fund since the start of the year, and inflows have been steady enough that buying outpaced selling on every trading day since September except four.
