Wilkes University has been awarded $200,000 in funding through the Statewide Local Share Account program to purchase equipment and technology for an enhanced, state-of-the-art Nursing Simulation Center.
“This investment will help prepare the next generation of nurses at a time when healthcare providers across Pennsylvania face unprecedented staffing challenges,” says James Cousins, president of Wilkes University. “We are immensely grateful to Senator Flynn and Representative Pashinski for their support of this project, which will allow Wilkes University to provide nursing students with the confidence and capabilities they need to ensure exceptional patient care and success in the workforce.”
