WAUKESHA — It’s sad news for cheese lovers as The Charcuterie House has announced it will close at the end of the month; however, a smaller collection of cheeses and meats will still be offered at Spring City Wine House, along with specialty offerings, charcuterie options and classes.
The Charcuterie House store at 349 W. Broadway opened in November 2023. The owners, Tom and Stacy Hockel, also own Spring City Wine House, 336 W. Main St., in downtown Waukesha.
“After a lot of thought and reflection, we’ve made the difficult decision to close The Charcuterie House retail shop in Waukesha at the end of January. This wasn’t an easy choice, but one made carefully and with intention,” reads a Friday Facebook post.
