PIEDMONT, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said a suspect was arrested after an armed robbery at a store Wednesday.
Officials said the call came in at around 4:35 p.m.
Deputies arrived at the Dollar General on Anderson Street (Highway 86), but the suspect had took off with the money.
Deputies began searching the area and lcoated the suspect and recovered the money.
At this time, the name of the suspect and charges have not been released.
