Investing in the future of MO agriculture
Missouri’s Governor says it’s important to continue finding ways to invest in the future of Missouri agriculture.
“Farming is the largest business in the state.”
Mike Parson says youth organizations like the FFA are a good place to start.
“FFA is important to the nation and the world,” he says. “These young people will have to talk about why production agriculture is so important to feed the world. FFA represents the next generation.”
Missouri FFA has 27,000 members and several chapters were at the Missouri capitol on Thursday to meet with the governor. National FFA Week continues through Saturday.
