EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A massive change is on the horizon for the Evansville Riverfront.
The Evansville Regional Economic Partnership is working to build a park to attract people and businesses to Evansville.
Officials held a meeting downtown to present updated plans to a steering committee, and field questions about what they have in store.
River Vision Advancement Director, Ashley Deikmann, says the meeting was a success.
“I think we had a lot of engagement from our steering committee, I think there were a lot of thoughtful questions,” Deikmann stated. “You can tell throughout the process we’ve done here, we’ve had those points of engagement, we’ve had over 10,000 points of engagement brought into the Ohio River Vision and straegic plan.”
Evansville’s section of the plan will stretch from Court Street all the way past the Evansville Museum.
