A new Dollar General has opened at 28618 75th St. in the Village of Salem Lakes, company officials have announced.
The store offers a variety of household items including food, cleaning supplies, paper products, over-the-counter medicines, hygiene products, baby items and more. The new location also includes the company’s new “on-trend” home decor and an expanded party preparation selection.
Normal hours of operation can be found online or on the Dollar General app. The store will reportedly employ about six to 10 people. Interested candidates can apply online at the company website.
With the opening of the new store, schools, nonprofit organizations and libraries in a 15-mile radius can apply for Dollar General Literacy Foundation grants, part of efforts to “be a good neighbor” and show the company is “committed to the communities it proudly calls home.”
