The fight against the controversial Project Sail data center compelled District 2 resident Amiee Tybor to seek a seat on the Coweta County Board of Commissioners.
“This decision was too large and the resources are too great and the health risks are too great for the community to not have been in the conversation,” she said of the approval of Project Sail.
Tybor said the process for data centers in the county should include town halls for commissioners to exchange ideas with residents and explain why projects are being considered.
