OneAZ Credit Union celebrates 55 years of serving Flagstaff.
From the beginning, OneAZ Credit Union has stood by its mission: “People helping people and providing members with access to financial services that could help them build a stronger financial future.”
The Founding Story
OneAZ Credit Union was founded in 1951, with its first branch in Phoenix serving State of Arizona employees. Under the advocacy of Gov. Rose Mofford, a founding member, word spread among elected officials and state employees about the credit union’s benefits.
“Flagstaff became an important part of that story in 1970, when we opened our second branch,” said OneAZ Northern Regional President Curtis Linderman. “That was more than 55 years ago, and today, we have two branches in Flagstaff.”
