Crowds flocked to Winnett Friday for a full day of activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the nonprofit Agricultural Community Enhancement and Sustainability organization and the grand opening of the historic building the ACES members saved and renovated.
After a day of fun, including pickleball, a potluck lunch and inflatable costume races on the school field, community members and friends gathered in front of the newest addition to the Winnett business district, the building called 55 Main.
“Ten years ago we didn’t have a road map of where this would take us. Ten years later, look around and see how much has happened,” Chris King, vice president of the non-profit Winnett ACES told the crowd.
