From what I have read, and am hearing through the grapevine, it seems as though at least some of the Wilkes County Commissioners are having reservations about voting to pay for the upgrade of the sewer and water lines from 8″ to 12″ (Betterments) on the Hwy. 115 improvement project. (According to my understanding a 12″ pipe can carry around 3 times as much liquid as an 8″ line. Varies depending on pressure, slope/grade, etc.) Not knowing your position, I want to convey my thoughts, and give you some examples of past errors in judgment to ponder.
I am wholeheartedly in favor of you funding the “Betterments”.
