High-performance materials producer ATI Materials has committed US$80 million to establish and operate a new manufacturing division, ATI Forged Products, in Chihuahua City, Mexico.
The announcement was made jointly by Chihuahua Governor Maru Campos and ATI President and Chief Executive Officer Kimberly Fields during the opening of the Mexican Pavilion at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026.
The economic development project will focus on advanced forging and manufacturing operations serving high-tech global supply chains. The facility is projected to create more than 230 highly specialized positions, primarily targeting skilled technicians and engineers to accelerate high-value-added talent development across the region.
