Sedona founders turn food truck favorite into a growing frozen-food brand.
Entrepreneurs Brian Konefal and Bryan Lubbehusen have built a following for Box Tots, a mashed potato tot made without seed oils, fillers, preservatives or bioengineered ingredients. The product recently reached a significant milestone when Shamrock Foods added Box Tots to its distribution network, expanding its reach beyond food truck customers and festival-goers.
Marketed with the slogan, “It’s like a Tot, but it’s Not!,” Box Tots offers a distinctive take on a familiar comfort food.
“Our product is like a homemade mashed potato tot,” said Konefal. “It’s the perfect blend of crunchy on the outside but creamy on the inside and does not contain any of the nine FDA food allergens.”
