Those words from Taryn Skalbania, the co-founder and outreach director of the Penticton Watershed Protection Alliance (PWPA).
Skalbania, who is also the co-founder of the Interior Watershed Taks Force, wasn’t allowed to speak at a special committee of the whole meeting organized by District of Peachland council Tuesday afternoon relating to forestry practices and protection of Okanagan watersheds, but she had plenty to say about British Columbia’s forestry practices after the meeting.
