Hermiston High grad opens his own business at 22

UMATILLA — When Anthony Villegas was in high school, he wanted to some day run his dad’s business. Three years after his graduation, he’s done himself one better by opening up his own.
Villegas opened N.W. Steel Buildings Structures on Sept. 6 in Umatilla on the corner of Highway 395 and Highway 730 where Buck’s Corner once stood. The once-vacant lot is now home to an inventory of sheds, shops and carports that Villegas offers.
At 22, Villegas is one of the younger business owners in the area. He got his start helping his dad, Frank, run N.W. Steel Buildings in Hermiston.
