Apollo Global Management announced that its funds have acquired Gatehouse Living Group, a UK-based residential investment and management platform, from Gatehouse Bank, according to an official company announcement. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Gatehouse Living Group is a vertically integrated platform focused on the build-to-rent single-family housing sector in the UK. The business includes Gatehouse Investment Management, its investment arm, and Ascend Properties, its property management arm. Together, the platform provides institutional investors with services to originate and manage residential housing assets.
The company has acquired more than 5,000 homes from major UK housebuilders and manages over 10,000 homes nationwide, including nearly 4,000 under its Ascend Living brand.
