With Blockchain momentum growing worldwide, a number of events locally and internationally are keeping the technology very much at the forefront of news. Blockchain is the platform for digital assets such as cryptocurrencies.
The Minister for Commerce addressed a Blockchain Technolgy Seminar in Davos Switzerland last week, which was held in the margins of the World Economic Forum. Albert Isola also held meetings with senior European officials involved in financial technology innovation, members of the European Parliament, and a number of private sector representatives from the United States, Asia and Europe. Minister Isola said afterwards that he would continue to assist in raising Gibraltar’s profile as a safe and trusted jurisdiction for the purposes of Blockchain.
