The EU Council has adopted regulation establishing a modernized policy framework to support the wine sector. The measures aim to better balance supply and demand, strengthen climate adaptation, simplify labeling rules, expand planting flexibility and reinforce rural economies, while allowing producers to respond to changing consumer preferences and export opportunities.
