The University of Miami has announced a gift from Arnaldo and Yani Bomnin in support of scholarships in the Patti and Allan Herbert Business School for students who are children of police officers, firefighters, active-duty military personnel, or veterans.
The $600,000 gift, which was doubled to a total of $1.2 million through the Herbert Endowed Scholarship Match program, will provide support to four students each year. In addition to their philanthropic efforts, the owners of Bomnin Automotive Group are exploring opportunities to create internship and career pathways within their companies.
