A series of news articles announcing several new industries that will create an abundance of jobs over the next decade landed in the No. 3 spot in the Top 10 Newsmakers of 2023 list, as voted by the staff writers and editors of the Cleveland Daily Banner.
Since 2020, Cleveland and Bradley County have attracted more than $800 million in industrial investment, boosting the area’s already robust manufacturing base, which includes companies such as Whirlpool, Mars Wrigley Confectionery, Eaton Corporation, Wacker Polysilicon, Olin Corporation, Amazon Fulfillment and Renfro Corporation.
Joining the roster of manufacturers are SK Food Group, Formulated Solutions, Wind River Custom Homes, Kroger Central Fill and Amaero International Limited.
