River City Co. plans Broad Street workshop
A free hands-on workshop for Chattanooga’s Reimagining Broad Street planning process will be held on Jan. 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Tennessee Aquarium River Journey Building, according to the downtown nonprofit redevelopment group River City Co.
Over 1,000 Chattanooga residents completed a survey as part of the first phase of the redevelopment project from the riverfront to M.L. King Boulevard, an official said.
“We are incredibly grateful to receive over 1,300 responses to the initial survey,” said Emily Mack, River City’s president and chief executive, in a statement. “We look forward to sharing some of the survey responses at the hands-on workshop along with hearing even more detailed visions from the community through the workshop on Jan. 10th.”
